Those first highly rated restaurants...the evenings were events. zbut, true, we most remember the great meals in little family run restaurants

Especially when you get to know everyone there! 😊

I remember well when your 25 for 25 journey kicked off! What an adventure!

We went to 9 of those restaurants in 2015 alone—aided and abetted of course by all the FS travel that year!!

Beautiful, happy bride and talented writer! Food is love. It’s such a blessing to gather around a table and break bread together.

Thank you for the lovely words, Linda (and for subscribing 😊).

Couldn’t agree more about the importance of gathering around the table together. I look forward to meeting again!

I love zucchini flowers. And fennel sausage too. This is such a lovely series idea

Thank you Giovanna! After spending most of my career in hotel business, it’s become second nature to notice and think about the intangible ways we both give and receive hospitality.

And the tart is really delicious!

This is an exciting series, one I’m looking forward to, Elizabeth.

Thank you Annada! When this idea was born, the world was a completely different place in so many respects. Still, the power of gathering, of food, of community, has never gone away. I am looking forward to hearing what others think.
